Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of intercontinentalauto.com. By using the site you accept them. They are not the contract under which you buy or sell a vehicle — that is a separate, signed document.
1. Who we are
Intercontinental Auto LLC is a licensed motor vehicle dealer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We operate by appointment rather than from an open lot.
2. Vehicle listings are invitations, not offers
We work hard to describe every vehicle accurately — real mileage, real condition, real photographs. Even so, listings are provided for general information, are subject to verification, and may contain errors or become out of date. Availability, price, fees and equipment can change without notice, and a vehicle shown here may already be sold or reserved.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer to sell. A sale is formed only when both parties sign a purchase agreement. Where a listing and a signed document disagree, the signed document governs. We recommend you inspect any vehicle, and arrange an independent inspection if you wish, before you commit.
3. Reservation deposits
Where we take a deposit to hold a vehicle, the terms of that deposit — including whether and when it is refundable — will be stated to you in writing at the time. A deposit does not by itself complete a sale or transfer any interest in the vehicle.
4. Cash offers for your vehicle
Any figure we give you in response to the “Sell Your Car” form is a preliminary, non-binding estimate based only on what you have told us. It is subject to physical inspection, verification of title and lien status, and confirmation of mileage and condition. A final offer is made in writing after inspection. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and photographs you submit, and for having the legal right to sell the vehicle.
5. Financing referrals
We are not a lender. The financing form on this site is an interest request that lets us refer you to third-party lending partners. We do not decide your terms, rate or eligibility, and we do not guarantee that any lender will approve you. Any credit agreement is between you and that lender, on their documents.
6. VIN lookup
Our VIN tool passes your query to the free NHTSA vPIC database and shows what it returns. It describes how a vehicle left the factory. It is not a vehicle history report: it does not cover accidents, salvage or branded titles, odometer discrepancies, liens, theft records or open recalls. Do not treat it as due diligence. We provide it as a convenience and without warranty.
7. Investor program
Information about the vehicle acquisition and export program is provided for general information only. It is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security. Interests are offered only to eligible investors, only through definitive documents, and only where lawful. The self-certification on that page controls access to information — it is not a substitute for the independent eligibility verification we perform before any investment. Past performance does not indicate future results, and any target return is an objective, not a promise.
8. Accounts
Staff, admin and investor accounts are personal to you. Keep your credentials and second-factor device secure and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse. We may suspend an account to protect the site or other users.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not scrape or bulk-download the site, submit false or automated form entries, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, probe or interfere with our security controls, or upload anything unlawful or infringing. Photographs you upload remain yours; you grant us permission to use them to evaluate and, if we buy the vehicle, to market it.
10. Our content
The site's text, layout, photographs and the Intercontinental Auto name and marks belong to us or our licensors. Please do not reproduce them without permission.
11. Disclaimers and limits
The website itself is provided “as is”, without warranties as to accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent Virginia law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.
None of this limits anything else. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights in an actual vehicle transaction, any written warranty we give you, the federal Buyers Guide that accompanies a used vehicle sale, or any right you have under Virginia motor vehicle dealer law or consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the state and federal courts serving Prince William County, Virginia have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
